Peaceful River, by Lorenzo Manaigo.
Sunlight filters softly through the trees onto a clear green stream, where flowers gather along the water’s edge. Beyond the leaves, a touch of violet sky opens through the woodland. A hidden corner of nature, painted as a quiet refuge of green, water and light.
I paint the places that have marked me — above all, the mountains of Cortina d’Ampezzo. I am French, my father was Ampezzano, and Cortina is part of who I am.
