A wide river bends through a landscape wrapped in snow, its dark waters becoming the quiet voice of an otherwise silent world. Bare branches reach into the scene, while white and grey dissolve into one another beneath the winter sky. River Spirit is the same painting that appears on Etsy under the name White Silence.
I paint the places that have marked me — above all, the mountains of Cortina d’Ampezzo. I am French, my father was Ampezzano, and Cortina is part of who I am.
