About this painting
A sunlit lane rises between old stone houses softened by climbing plants, while glimpses of the sea appear beyond the cypress trees. White walls, warm stone and Mediterranean light come together in a quiet village atmosphere. A small passage through Saint-Paul where the sea is always somewhere beyond the rooftops.
