The story
About this painting
A narrow stream winds quietly through the snow, carrying the soft violet-grey reflection of the winter sky. Bare shrubs and small pines stand along the banks, their muted forms disappearing gently into the landscape. Winter reduced to its quietest colours — snow, water, sky and silence.
