A wooden boat with a dark canopy rests on turquoise water by an orange shore, with blue mountains and distant white sails under a cloudy sky, an original painting by Lorenzo Manaigo. A calm day by the sea, caught in warm and cool colors.
I paint the places that have marked me — above all, the mountains of Cortina d’Ampezzo.
I am French, my father was Ampezzano, and Cortina is part of who I am. Each painting is an invitation to pause for a moment and enter the landscape.
